Saucy Mama’s Pizzeria Stands Out

Big Bear, Ca March 12, 2011 3:00 pm – In the Village of Big Bear Lake, tucked in behind the North Pole Fudge and Ice Cream Company, you will find Saucy Mama’s Pizzeria.  Although the location is off the beaten path, the food stands out.  Homemade dough, hand-tossed, topped with a sauce from a family recipe, and baked in a stone oven, the pizza is fresh and unique.  Accompanied by a salad and one of the many beer or wines offered, you have a delicious dinner.  If you’d prefer something different, try the pizza fries, smothered in mozzarella cheese, jalapenos, and bacon bits, with a side of homemade pizza sauce for dipping, or the hand made ravioli, spaghetti, or tortellini with your choice of Grandma’s meat sauce or a vegetarian marinara.  A variety of subs and sandwiches on fresh baked bread, appetizers and reasonably priced lunch specials round out the menu.  Open 11:00 am – 8:00 pm during the week, 11:00 – 9:00 on weekends, Saucy Mama’s is definitely worth looking for when you’re hungry in Big Bear.  Saucy Mama’s Website
