Saturday’s Friends of NRA Banquet to Benefit Youth Firearm Safety and Women’s Programs

nra-thumbThis Saturday, June 13 marks the fourth annual Big Bear Valley Friends of the NRA fundraising banquet. Tickets to the 6pm event at the Big Bear Convention Center are $35 each; the evening will include dinner, games, a live and silent auction, raffles and prize drawings for limited edition firearms, outdoor gear, artwork and other National Rifle Association collectibles. As the event’s chair Tara Venard explains, “Not only do guests have an opportunity to meet other supporters of the Second Amendment, there is a one in 10 chance of winning an exclusive NRA firearm or other great prizes, many of which were donated by our local community.” Proceeds from Saturday’s Friends of NRA banquet will benefit the NRA Foundation, a non-profit that distributes grants to support youth firearm safety, women’s programs and range development. For ticket purchases, contact Lissa Davis at 714/832-1355 or via email at ldavis@nrahq.org.
