Rocket Launch Rescheduled

Big Bear, Ca, November 2, 2010, 12:00pm - Last night a launch of Delta II COSMO-SkyMed 4, which is a constellation of Small Satellites for observation of the Mediterranean basin, was scheduled to launch at  7:20pm.  The launch has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 2 with a launch time of 7:20p.m.  The rescheduling is due to mission managers finding an insufficient flow of Gaseous Nitrogen in the Delta II engine compartment.  To allow engineers the time required to correct this issue, the launch attempt has been delayed 24 hours. If all goes as planned tonight at 7:20pm, look to the west, and you may see the launch.
