CalTrans Roadwork on Big Bear Boulevard Scheduled to Continue Today; Watch for Rocks on Arctic Circle

roadworksign-thumbWith the Labor Day holiday behind us, CalTrans roadwork continues on Big Bear Boulevard, from Boulder Bay to Big Bear City, and flagging can also be expected on Highway 18 en route to Lucerne Valley, as well as on Highway 18 at the Big Bear bridge project. If you tuned in to KBHR yesterday (September 7), you may have heard us mention that rocks were obstructing portions of the roadway on Highway 18, just west of the dam, on Arctic Circle. Though boulders have been cleared, there have been additional reports of rocks on Arctic Circle this morning, so those taking Highway 18 west of the dam are advised to drive with caution.
