Relay For Life Looking For Volunteers

Big Bear, Ca, February 17, 2011, 12:00pm - Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s signature community event, will return to Big Bear this year, and volunteers are needed to assist.  According to Relay for Life, the event is a unique concept that involves relay teams who take turns walking, running, or strolling around a track.  The teams consist of individuals representing families, corporations, clubs, organizations, and neighborhoods. Teams will camp out on the surrounding grounds during the entire event enjoying music, food and camaraderie with each other as well as with other teams.  For information on how to form a team, or volunteer for the event that will take place on August 27th and 28th, call (760) 473-0664.
