Big Bear, Ca, September 30, 2010, 3:00pm - There is currently a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Red Flag Warning, in effect for the San Bernardino Mountains, as well as Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley. The Red Flag Warning is in effect until 11:00pm tonight for dry lightening which has averaged about 2 lightning strikes per minute in certain areas. Downdraft winds have been measured between 25 and 37 MPH, with a potential in certain areas for up to 45 MPH. Drive safely and be cautious behind the wheel when driving on wet asphalt.
