Big Bear Lake, CA, September 25, 2013 – The Bear Valley Unified School District has given notice of a date change on an upcoming public hearing. The hearing involves the Governing Board considering entering into an energy services contract and facility financing contracts. The hearing will now be held October 2nd at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room of the District Office, located at 42271 Moonridge Road in Big Bear Lake.

The facility financing contracts have to do with energy conservation facilities at various existing sites throughout the District. Details will be presented at the public hearing, and the testimony of all interested persons for or against the proposed Agreements will be heard.  

Any protest pertaining to the regularity or sufficiency of the proceedings should be filed in writing with the Board Secretary of the District on or before the time set for the hearing.  The District may waive any irregularities in the form or content of any written notice and at the hearing may correct minor defects in the proceedings.  Written protests may be withdrawn, in writing, at any time before the conclusion of the hearing.
