Pot Bust In Bear Creek

Big Bear Lake, CA, July 10, 2012, 3:00pm - Law enforcement officials conducted an illegal marijuana farm eradication in Bear Creek today. The operation began this morning and is still going on. It involves law enforcement from the National Forest Service as well as Federal Narcotics Agents. Besides eradicating the marijuana, the agents were also removing the paraphernalia, including irrigation, living quarters and trash. Commuters on SR 18 near Glory Ridge and the Arctic Circle may have noticed a helicopter moving Federal Agents by a sling rope to and from the illegal farm.
