Palm Springs Film Festival Brings “One World” Film Tour to Big Bear Lake

Big Bear Lake, CA, June 27, 2014 - The Palm Springs International Film Society is teaming up with the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival and Wolf Creek Resort to present the renowned One World film tour this weekend.

One World is a free community screening of the best international short films from around the world. This summer and fall, the tour will stop in twelve communities in the Inland Empire, which each program followed by a lively discussion on the films with Palm Springs International Film Festival Artistic Director Helen duToit.

The screenings start at 5:00 p.m. this Sunday, June 29th at the Wolf Creek Resort Wine Room (41421 Big Bear Boulevard), and will include complimentary wine and cheese. Funding for these free public programs is provided by the James Irvine Foundation.

The Palm Springs International Film Society presents both the world-renowned Palm Springs International Film Festival every January and the Palm Springs International ShortFest every June. Believing film is an art form that bridges cultures and shows the universality of the human experience, the society strives for a world in which enlightenment, knowledge and tolerance prevail.
