With rain expected in our area today (October 13), the National Weather Service has also issued a Flash Flood Watch, which should serve as a precaution for those living in and below burned areas as there is a threat of mudslides and debris flow. Moderate to heavy rainfall is also possible in portions of the San Bernardino mountains, and the storm will also generate strong, gusty winds and local dense fog in the mountains.
