The award-winning student musicians of the BVUSD and Steven G. Mihaylo Foundation strings programs will gather at the Performing Arts Center this Wednesday for “A String Extravaganza.” Over 100 students will be participating in the musical revue directed by Sharon Rizzo, and she notes, “They do everything from classical music to Latin, rock and country western-type fiddlin’. They have worked really hard this year, and have earned some pretty good awards.” A String Extravaganza begins at 6:30pm on the 20th and tickets are $12 for adults, and $8 for students. For tickets, call the PAC box office at 866-4970, or book tickets online at CityBigBearLake.com.
