On Saturday, June 18th, multiple fire agencies, including the Big Bear City and Big Bear Lake Fire Departments came together to conduct a Fire Training Exercise. The house that burned down was a condemned building, and was needed to be removed, as it sits on the new zoo site. Many fire agencies were on hand to make sure the fire did not get out of control, and many fire fighters who participated in this exercise recieved a certificate after completion of the course.
