First Morning of March Starts With a Quake; 1.8 Magnitude Tremor Centered Near Big Bear City

earthquake-thumb1We had our first earthquake of the month yesterday, March 1, when a 1.8 magnitude quake occurred at 9:06am. The 1.8 magnitude tremor was centered four miles east of Big Bear City, per the U.S. Geological Survey,  and registered a depth of 3.5 miles.
