Minor Earthquake Shakes Big Bear Valley Followed By Two Small Aftershocks

Big Bear City, CA, July 5, 2012, noon - A minor earthquake rattled Big Bear Valley this morning at 11:18am. The magnitude 3.5 event occurred 3 miles North of Big Bear City. The quake was followed by two small aftershocks. The first was a 1.4 magnitude at 11:23am 3 miles North North-East of Big Bear City. The second aftershock had a magnitude of 2.6 and occurred at 11:42am 2 miles North North-East of Big Bear City. There have been no reports of any damage or injuries.
