Minimum School Day for BBMS and Elementaries Today; Melinda Peterson Named New Baldwin Lane Principal

schoolgeneric-thumbToday is a minimum day at most Bear Valley Unified Schools, to allow for teachers’ strategic planning. This Thursday, and every Thursday, will be minimum days for students at the elementary schools (Baldwin Lane, Big Bear and North Shore) and Big Bear Middle School.
In other news from BVUSD, the Board of Trustees yesterday confirmed the hiring of Melinda Peterson, to serve as principal of Baldwin Lane Elementary, given the resignation of current Principal Rosa Murillo, effective August 13. Peterson will come to BVUSD from the Morongo Unified School District; a start date has not yet been determined.
