Micro Earthquakes Near Big Bear City

Big Bear City, CA, November 26, 2012 - A micro earthquake occurred 5 miles east of Big Bear City at 8:25 am on Monday, November 26, 2012. The magnitude 2.8 event was followed by a few smaller aftershocks during the day measuring 1.2, 1.0 and 1.3. There were no reports of any damage or injuries. Remember to always be prepared for emergencies. You should have a disaster plan and an earthquake kit ready at all times.
