Big Bear, October 5, 2011, 4:00pm – This Friday at 3:30pm there will be a memorial service to celebrate the life of Big Bear High School Teacher Josh Roth who passed away last week. Josh Roth was born on July 29th, 1979, and was an artist, teacher, coach, athlete and friend to many, and was known to inspire students to see the beauty in life and encourage their artistic abilities. After Mr. Roth’s passing students, teachers and staff at Big Bear High wore black, and brought flowers to his classroom. The night Mr. Roth passed away a Facebook group was formed in his memory, and many current and former students, and friends have posted photos and pictures of his artwork, and have expressed how they miss him. The service will be held this Friday at 3:30 at the high school gym and everyone is welcome to attend.
