Marine Corps Plane Disabled At Airport

Big Bear City, CA, March 28, 2013 - According to a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman, a Marine Corps T-34 was disabled on the runway of the Big Bear City Airport yesterday afternoon. Runway 26 at the airport was closed for about an hour. The nose wheel collapsed on the US Marine Corps training plane. An instructor and a pilot were on board the single-engine plane. No one was injured. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
