Youth Artist Could be Heinz Hero; Kenli Seaman Named National Finalist in Art Contest

kenli-ketchupthumbnailLocal third-grader Kenli Seaman entered a national art contest last month and was chosen from thousands of entries as one of three finalists for her grade. There were 45,000 entries in the Heinz Ketchup Creativity™ Contest. Online voting is open to the public until March 25.

If Kenli is chosen, Baldwin Lane Elementary will receive $1000.00 for art supplies, a framed print of the artwork and $1000.00 worth of ketchup. What’s more, 19.5 million ketchup packets will be printed with her artwork on them, and Kenli will get $1000 for her college savings.
