Lady Bears Compete in CIF Basketball and Soccer Games Today; Boys Basketball Wraps Season

The Big Bear High School girls varsity basketball team ranked third overall in DeAnza League play during the regular season and now advance to the CIF playoffs, with a first round game this evening. The Lady Bears travel to North Hills to play L.A. Baptist at 6pm.
The girls soccer team took second overall in league, and host their first round of playoff competition at the Beaumont Sports Park this afternoon. The 3:15pm soccer game is against Woodcrest Christian of Riverside.
The boys varsity basketball team, who hosted Montclair Prep in round one of CIF play yesterday, lost their game 56-66.
