KBHR Snowfall Sweepstakes Winners Announced

Big Bear, Ca, February 23, 2011, 1:00pm - The KBHR Snowfall Sweepstakes had thousands of entries this past year, for our annual weather guessing contest, where entrants had to guess the date and the time when 9.3 inches of snow would accumulate at the studios of KBHR in Big Bear City.  9.3 inches of snow accumulated at 8:00pm on Saturday, February 19th.  Dave Harlev of Big Bear Lake was the closest entrant with a guess that was 90 minutes off the accumulation time.  Harlev has won a brand new Snowthrower from Big Bear City Saw Works, Joanna Moreno of Murrieta guessed a time that was 10 hours and 54 minutes off time of accumulation and won an Adult Season Ski Pass from Big Bear Mountain Resorts, and Sheree Koons of Big Bear Lake guessed a time that was 14 hours off of accumulation, and won a cord of firewood from the AJ Acosta Firewood and Tree Service Company.  Congratulations to the winners, and good luck this October when you can enter for next years KBHR Snowfall Sweepstakes!
