mwdlogothumbThe Big Bear Municipal Water District has been deliberating issues associated with the rental of kayaks and canoes from businesses unaffiliated with commercial marinas, and plans to have a workshop to address what they’ve referred to as the numerous complicating and competing interests. However, before that workshop takes place, the MWD’s Board of Directors will first address in this afternoon’s meeting, which takes place at 1pm at the MWD offices, located at 40524 Lakeview Drive in Big Bear Lake. This afternoon’s discussion on kayak and canoe rentals is slated to be informational only, as no action will yet be taken on this item.
