Jordan Romero Book Signing: September 10th

Big Bear Lake, Ca, September 1, 2010, 9:00am - Young mountaineer Jordan Romero will be at the Big Bear Book and Bean this Friday, September 10th from 6:00 to 8:00pm. to autograph his new book, THE BOY WHO CONQUERED EVEREST. The book is a full color scrapbook-style storybook (intended for readers ages 8-15) and includes nearly 200 photos covering four years of Team Jordan’s climbing adventures, from Mount Kilimanjaro through Mount Everest. The conclusion is Jordan’s message to kids to set BIG goals and follow their dreams. The Big Bear Book and Bean is located at 634 Pine Knot Avenue in The Village of Big Bear Lake. Angela Meyers moved to Big Bear in August of 2009, after spending a summer in Washington DC. Angela’s parents Roy and Susan Meyers met at Big Bear High School in 1967, and her Grandfather Rob Jacobson worked at the Big Bear Lake Post Office for 28 years. Angela graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Public Relations. While at CSUF she was the Director of Public Relations for the Associated Students for two years. Angela is a member of the Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation, The Big Bear Cycling Association, and races for, and is the co captain of Team Tough Chik, an all women's multi sport team.
