Highway 330 Re-Opens

Highway 330 has re-opened after being temporarily closed by the U.S. Forest Service due to fire activity near the highway below Running Springs. At this time, all routes in, out and around Big Bear are open. As of 12:15pm, lightening strikes have resulted in a at least a dozen small fires in the San Bernardino. The largest of the fires is the McKinley fire that has grown to over 100 acres. The McKinley fire is located West of Highway 330 and North of the City of Highland on Harrison Mountain. KBHR will update you as information becomes available.
