Big Bear, Ca, August 23, 2011, 3:00pm – At approximately 7:55am on August 23nd, local 74 year old Big Bear resident Norman Greene was traveling southbound on Highway 330 on his motorcycle, and for an unknown reason failed to negotiate a right hand turn. The motorcycle, a 2006 Kawasaki 650 Enduro, collided with a 2004 Chevy Cavalier driven by 49 year old resident of West Covina Jose Antonio Morales, resulting in the bike falling on its right side. Greene was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident resulted in Highway 330 being closed for approximately 2 ½ hours this morning. The cause of the collision is under investigation.
