Tomorrow evening, July 17, marks the second of the Village Business Association’s Friday Nights in the Village events, during which merchants and restaurants will be open late. From 5 to 8pm, the Village L, including Pine Knot Avenue and Village Drive, will be bustling with live entertainment, children’s activities and local artisans. Big Bear Lake City Councilwoman Liz Harris attended Friday Night in the Village last week, in its debut, and she reported to Council this week, “I was delighted how many people were there. I haven’t seen that kind of energy in the Village in a long, long time.” Locals are encouraged to revisit the Village, and enjoy an evening strolling about, dining and shopping with friends and neighbors. Friday Nights in the Village continue through September.

The Jory Lyle Trio (including Jory Lyle, Terry Copley and Steve Boggio on drums) was one of three bands performing in the Village last Friday, for the inaugural Friday Nights in the Village.
