Free Immunization Clinic Available For Qualified Children And Teens

Big Bear Lake, CA, June 21, 2012, 8:00am - Bear Valley Community Healthcare District will be working in conjunction with the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC) to update and administer any recommended vaccines to qualified candidates free of charge. In order to qualify for the vaccine program your child must be under the age of 19 and be Medi-cal Managed Care, Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) eligible, American Indian/Alaskan native, or Uninsured. The Immunization Clinics will be offered on a walk in basis two times before the start of the 2012-2013 school year to those patients who qualify on a first come first serve basis. The clinic will be held at The Family Health Center at 370 Summit Boulevard in Big Bear Lake on Saturday, June 23 & on Saturday July 28 from 8am until 4pm. You must bring your child’s immunization record on the day of service. You can contact the Family Health Center at 878-8246 for more information.
