Flagging, Delays on Highway 38 and Highway 18 This Week

06/01/2009 By Catherine Sandstrom

roadworksign-thumbFlagging resumes on Highway 38 this morning, and will extend through Thursday, June 4. Motorists can expect minimal delays in the Angelus Oaks portion of Highway 38, as California Department of Forestry crews complete brush removal efforts in the area. The four days of flagging on Highway 38 will be from 9am to 2:30pm. Flagging also continues, weekdays, on Highway 18 at the Big Bear dam. Motorists can expect delays up to 15-20 minutes at the dam, and this will take place from 7am to 5pm through the duration of the project, which extends through 2011.
