Two Fishing Tournaments Planned for May, Pending MWD Board Approval Today

mwdlogothumbThe Board of Directors of the Big Bear Municipal Water District will meet at 1pm this afternoon (March 19), at the MWD offices at 40524 Lakeview Drive in Big Bear Lake. Today’s MWD agenda includes permit consideration for two special events: the Jim Hall Memorial Trout Classic on May 16 &17 and the Big Bear Lake Resort Association’s Fishin’ for 50K Trout Derby planned for May 30 & 31. The MWD Board will also consider approval of a consultant agreement, utilizing $109,000 from the Lake Improvement Budget, to prepare design and construction documents for the Big Bear marina and peninsula recontouring project.
