Fire Weather Watch in Effect for the San Bernardino Mountains

wind-thumb1The weather is changing (we even had a little rain yesterday evening), and it’s now feeling like fall in the Big Bear Valley. Yesterday, the National Weather Service had issued a Wind Advisory for our area, and today (September 30) we are under a Fire Weather Watch, which extends through Thursday afternoon. This Fire Weather Watch is prompted by low relative humidity and continued strong, gusty winds, so please be especially fire-safe during this period which, again, extends through tomorrow.
