Fawnskin Fire Monday Morning Update

Fawnskin, CA, April 22, 2013 РAs of this morning, the Fawnskin Fire, which started Saturday night at approximately 5:30pm just north of Forest Service road 2N12, is at 60% containment and holding at 30 acres.  Fire crews are focusing on mop up and containment lines with 189 personnel assigned to this fire to include two water dropping helicopters to continue to hold and improve lines.  The official cause of the Fawnskin Fire is an escaped campfire.
