A free home foreclosure seminar will be offered this Saturday, July 25 through The Inland Empire Economic Recovery Corporation. County Supervisor Neil Derry invites distressed homeowners to participate in the 8am seminar, being held at Cal State University San Bernardino, during which time homeowners will be able to have one-on-one consultations with lenders and non-profits to discuss options other than foreclosure.  Although the seminar will last until 2pm, previous events have been heavily attended and prospective attendees are encouraged to arrive early on Saturday so that they may have the best opportunity to receive consultation. Supervisor Derry notes, “These are very difficult times and many homeowners are paralyzed by fear and uncertainty. Hopefully, we can educate these homeowners and provide them with some assistance so that they can keep their homes.” Cal State San Bernardino will offer free parking (in Lot D) to attendees of Saturday’s home foreclosure seminar, which will be held in the Santos Manuel Student Union.
