Event Survey Teams Being Hired for 2009 Season

The Event Resource Office of Big Bear Valley is hiring survey teams for the 2009 events season. The teams will conduct surveys throughout the year to help the ERO learn more about the event audience and the impact they have on the Valley. Rick Bates of the ERO tells KBHR, “It works better when they work as a team, be it friends or couples, but individuals are welcome to apply. The job is a lot of fun, and you get to learn about the inner-workings of events.” The position involves mostly weekend hours, and those who are friendly and sociable are encouraged to apply. After graduating from BBHS, Catherine moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University. In her 20 years off the mountain, most recently in Manhattan Beach, Catherine's career has included publishing, broadcasting, public relations and public education; she served as KBHR's News Director from April 2007 to July 2010.
