The Board of Commissioners of the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District will be taking a field trip during this evening’s regular meeting, which begins at 5pm at the Big Bear Senior Center across from Baker Pond. Prior to adjourning the meeting, commissioners will take the new youth bus to Pan Hot Springs, for a mini tour, as well as the Moonridge Animal Park, home to nine wolf pups born to Wakiza on April 9. The zoo portion of the Rec and Park meeting will include a tour of the animal park’s new kitchen and medical facility.
