The Big Bear City area will be recognized with the Firewise Community distinction during a presentation at this evening’s regular third-Monday meeting of the Board of Directors of the Big Bear City Community Services District. The meeting, which begins at 5:30pm, will be held at the CSD offices at 139 E. Big Bear Bouevard. The district’s Environment Committee, which includes Directors Barbara Beck and Jeff Newsome, will meet at the CSD offices tomorrow, March 17, at 1pm, to consider the feasibility of a Clean Bear trash site for the Big Bear City area. Tuesday’s meeting will be held in open session, so the public is welcome to attend.
