Two Earthquakes on Tuesday; Second Tremor Registers as 1.8 Magnitude

We had an earthquake centered seven miles northeast of Big Bear City last night (August 18) at 10:28pm, which the U.S. Geological Survey recorded as a 1.8 magnitude and to a depth of 2.5 miles. Earlier in the day, Tuesday, we’d had a 1.1 magnitude quake, centered five miles north of Big Bear City, at 10:51am.
