Two Earthquakes Within Six Hours, and Both Centered Outside of Big Bear City

We had two earthquakes centered outside of Big Bear City since last night. The first, at 8:23pm yesterday (April 14), registered a 2.0 magnitude and a depth of just over two miles, and was centered four miles north northeast of Big Bear City. Last night’s 2.0 magnitude quake was followed a 1.8 magnitude tremor this morning at 2:59am. This quake was also centered four miles north northeast of Big Bear City and, per the U.S. Geological Survey, registered a depth of 2.5 miles.
