Earthquake of 1.6 Magnitude Centered Outside of Big Bear City This Morning

earthquake-thumb1We had a small earthquake in our area late this morning, as the U.S. Geological Survey reports that there was a quake of a 1.6 magnitude centered five miles south southeast of Big Bear City at 9:50am. The 1.6 magnitude tremor registered a depth of over six miles.
