Tomorrow morning’s meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Department of Water and Power will include a presentation recognizing outgoing Vice Chairman Barbara Willey, and the swearing in of Commissioner Fred Miller and new-to-the-Board Karen Dally, both of whom have been appointed by City Council to serve four-year terms. Though Steve Foulkes will remain chairman of the DWP until January, the departure of Willey prompts an election to determine which of the Commissioners, which also includes Bill Giamarino and Robert Tarras, will serve as the agency’s vice chairman. The July 28 DWP meeting, which begins at 9am at the DWP offices at 41972 Garstin Drive, will also include review of the proposed Commercial Rate Design.
