Big Bear Lake, CA, August 9, 2010, 12:00pm – KBHR has received information of a near drowning this morning, Monday, August 09, 2010, at docks on Lagonita Lane in Big Bear Lake. According to the information that we have at this point, a 75-year-old male with a history of epilepsy had been standing on a dock when he had a seizure and collapsed into the water. The man was found face down in the lake. Paramedics were called to the scene and began performing CPR around 9:30am this morning according to socalmountains.com. They were able to get a pulse and he was transported by Big Bear City Fire ambulance to Bear Valley Community Hospital and will be transported via Mercy Air to Loma Linda University Medical Center.
