Drivers Reminded to Drive Sober

Big Bear, Ca March 18, 2011 12:00 pm - The California Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to avoid using alcohol or drugs when they get in their cars.  Between 6:00 am and midnight tonight, the CHP will have a sobriety and drivers license checkpoint in the unincorporated area in the Big Bear Valley to ensure that drivers are heeding the reminder.  Drivers who are found to be under the influence of either alcohol or drugs can expect to be arrested.  The CHP’s goal is to make our roads safer for everyone.  The message is, if you want to arrive alive, don’t drink and drive.
