Dig Out Project Repairs Pavement On State Route 38

Big Bear City, CA, September 5, 2012 - Pavement Repairs begin today, Wednesday, September 5, 2012 on SR 38. Caltrans is working on a $2.9 million highway maintenance project to dig out damaged pavement on State Route 38 from Greenway to Big Bear Dam along the north shore. Matich Corporation is the contractor for the project and the work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm with flagging. There will be on-way controlled traffic at various locations. The project is expected to last until the fall. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and take alternate routes to avoid delays.
