San Bernardino, CA, November 6, 2012, 6:30pm – Firefighters have contained the Devore Fire as of 6pm on Tuesday November 6, 2012. Fire crews will continue to improve fire control lines around the perimeter of the fire area and knock down hot spots within the fire area. Caltrans crews replaced damaged guardrails along the southbound lanes of Interstate 15. All lanes on Interstate 15 in both directions are open to the motoring public. The California Highway Patrol cautions motorists to be careful traveling in the fire area, since fire crews will be working along the shoulder. Fire officials expect full control on Thursday evening.
