Big Bear Lake, CA, February 21, 2013 – The Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake will conduct its annual dental screening program at all three elementary schools in Big Bear Valley on Friday, March 1, 2013. The program will be held from approximately 9am until noon at Big Bear Elementary, North Shore Elementary and Baldwin Lane Elementary schools. All Kindergarten, third grade and fifth grade students are eligible to be screened. The information derived from each individual dental screening is forwarded to school health officials who then pass the information along to parents. Children with identified problems are encouraged to seek treatment from their own private dentist. Children whose families cannot afford dental treatment are often treated by local dentists at no charge, or reduced rates. More information about the dental screening program is available at each elementary school.
