Big Bear, Ca, September 28, 2011, 5:00pm – The Big Bear City Community Services District will be starting the search process for a new General Manager soon. According to CSD Board Secretary, Mary Reeves an executive search firm, Bob Murray and Associates, was selected to head the search process at the September 12th meeting of the CSD. The firm will be taking the lead on the search process and is currently working on finalizing the position brochure. The firm will advertise through their network both locally and nationally in their search for the next CSD General Manager, and will present qualified candidates to the board for the final interview and selection. Jeff Newsome, current CSD board chair had expressed interest in applying for the position earlier in the year, and has since announced that he will not resign from the board to apply. Deanne Johanson, CSD Human Resources Manager told KBHR that the firm hopes to have the process finalized by December.
