San Bernardino, CA — San Bernardino County Supervisors meet tomorrow morning at 10am, and are scheduled to vote on a measure in support of the Big Bear Valley Master Plan of Trails, for which the Bear Valley Trails Foundation is applying for a CalTrans transportation planning grant in the amount of $135,000. The County, in partnership with the City of Big Bear Lake, is working on the application, due on April 1, and the March 23 agenda item would, if approved, appropriate $5,625 (or half the matching funds required), should our local trails foundation received the grant award. In another recreational transportation item, County Supervisors will hold a special afternoon session (following their regular board meeting at 10am); at 2:30pm Tuesday, and also at the County Government Center in San Bernardino, County Supervisors will conduct a public hearing regarding a proposed off-highway vehicle ordinance. County Supervisors meetings are viewable online.
