County Supervisor Derry Seeks Registered Voters Within Third District to Serve on County Boards and Commissions

sanbernardino-thumb1San Bernardino County Third District Supervisor Neil Derry is seeking applicants to fill current vacancies on various boards, committees and commissions throughout the Third District, which includes the mountain communities, Loma Linda, Redlands and Joshua Tree, among others. Members of boards, commissions and committees, also known as BCCs, provide a service to the county by assisting govermental bodies in the decision-making process. Per Derry’s office, county residents with special experience and expertise can make a contribution to community by serving on one or more BCC, while also participating in the democratic process. Some seats on BCCs that are currently open include the Regional Parks Advisory Commission, the Big Bear Area Regional Wastewater Agency, Commission on the Status of Women, the Fish and Game Commission, and the Preschool Services Department Policy Council.
