Big Bear Lake, CA, October 18, 2010, 8:00am – LifeStream, formally known as the blood banks of San Bernardino and Riverside counties, will conduct a community blood and bone marrow drive tomorrow, Tuesday, October 19th, in the parking lot of Starbucks in the Interlaken Shopping Center from 10am to 2:30pm. Donors need to be at least 15 years of age, free of infections or illness, weigh at least 110 pounds and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis. Donors aged 15 and 16 must provide written parental consent to donate blood. Donors will receive a free mini-physical as part of the donation process and will also receive a coupon for one tall coffee or tea courtesy of Starbucks and, just in time for Halloween, will also receive a coupon for a complimentary bottle of stage blood from The Fun Corner in San Bernardino.
