O' Christmas tree, are you ready for recycling?

If you’re done enjoying your Christmas tree, there are tree recycling opportunities at either end of the Valley. Those within Big Bear Lake can leave trees at the recycling center on Garstin Drive (just west of Big Bear Boulevard) through January 16. Big Bear Disposal has a specially marked Christmas tree recycling station in the driveway next to the Buy Back Center, and the bin is accessible 24/7 and available to residents and visitors within the City of Big Bear Lake. For those in the East Valley, the Big Bear City Community Services District has also made Christmas tree recycling available at the Paradise Way maintenance yard, located on the northern end of Paradise Way, just off Highway 18. CSD’s Paradise Yard is available for tree drop-off from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday, though closed on the New Year’s Day holiday.
