Cheerleaders Clean Up After Lakeside Slackers

cheerleadersthumbThe Big Bear Municipal Water District would like to give special thanks to the Big Bear High School Cheerleaders for their involvement with the Adopt-A-Shoreline program.

The program runs through October, and it works like this: you adopt an area along the 22 miles of shoreline, place trash into bags, then call the MWD to pick the bags up.

Thousands of pounds of trash are picked up a year from careless shoreline users.

The program has been in place for many years. Any interested groups or individuals can contact the Big Bear Municipal Water District at 909 866-5796 and speak with Travis Carroll.
